Rhythm fun with body, tubes and boxes

Pieces, songs, games, exercises with boomwhackers and cajons

Rhythm is it! Of course, there will be a lot of drumming in this workshop - on the cajons, the wonderful drum-seat boxes; with the boomwhackers, the colorful tonal plastic tubes; and on the body, our most important instrument of all. And there will always be talking and singing, rapping and vocal improvisation.

There will be short, playful exercises with the respective instrumental techniques and the combination of movement and voice. From this - with the boomwhackers as well as with bodypercussion and with the cajons - small instrumental pieces and some songs with their "accompanying grooves" will be worked out. Everyone sings and plays! This may get you a little confused at first, but soon becomes fun and a wonderful and effective way to "get" rhythm.

The workshop is aimed at teachers at primary and special schools as well as in secondary schools, and also at anyone interested in rhythm.

If possible, please bring: a Cajon, a diatonic octave Boomwhackers (medium size)
