by train:
Destination station is Engers.
From there it is a 10 minute walk to the left following the signs.
If the journey is only possible to Neuwied (main station), take the bus (lines: on weekdays 54, 67, 107; Sundays and holidays 70, 71, 107) to Engers, bus stop Engers Alleestraße. There you can see Schloss Engers (Engers castle), from the castle follow the signs to the left.
by car:
a) on the left bank of the Rhine, take the A61 to the Koblenz interchange and change to the A48 towards Frankfurt / Koblenz. Immediately after the Rhine bridge, leave the freeway and take the B42 towards Bendorf / Neuwied. Take the Neuwied-Engers exit.
b) On the right bank of the Rhine, take the A3 to the Dernbacher Dreieck and change to the A48 towards Trier. Just before the bridge over the Rhine, leave the freeway and take the B42 towards Bendorf/Neuwied. Coming from Koblenz / Vallendar you also take the B42 exit Neuwied-Engers.
Orientation in Engers:
Continue straight on under the railroad line until you reach the traffic lights with a view of the castle, turn left into Bendorfer Straße, then take the second right (into Jakobsstraße), from there to the parking lot at the Martinskirche. Parking is only possible in front of the Martinskirche, about three minutes walk from the academy. Follow the signs to Schloss Engers; the Landesmusikakademie is located on the left side of the castle.
