Cajón Workshop online

Onlineseminar in Kooperation mit dem BMU RLP

The cajón is an ideal introduction to the world of rhythms because it is so easy to learn. It is equally suitable for solo and ensemble playing. Meanwhile it belongs to the basic equipment of every percussionist and is often used as a substitute for drums at unplugged concerts. Its possible applications range from traditional flamenco and Latin to modern rock, pop or hip-hop rhythms.

The very intensive offer - with only eight participants, individual supervision is also provided - is aimed at teachers from general education schools and music schools and rhythm enthusiasts.

The workshop includes the following topics:

- Basics

- playing technique

- Implementation of drum rhythms on the cajón

- coordination exercises

In order to be able to make full use of the course, a PC workstation with webcam and microphone - also built-in - should be available. (Laptop or tablet can be used).

The platform for music lessons Doozzoo is used as a conference system. Doozzoo runs very well under Chrome Browser on Mac & Win Desktop on Laptops, Computers, Tablets & Phones with Android as well as Ipad & Iphone with Safari (from IOS 14.3).

The access data as well as further information will be communicated to the participants in time before the start of the training.
