Play and repeat??! Piano improvisation days |
"... the ear does not like to be satisfied with what it has already suspected in advance, but wants to be deceived all the time". (Joachim Quantz, 1752) Improvising on jazz standards, folk songs and pop songs is one of the most important skills for music teachers today. But improvisation is also playing an increasingly important role in instrumental teaching. This course is for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of piano improvisation while exploring traditional paths in new ways. The variation and renewal of well-known musical patterns of all kinds will therefore be the focus of the course work. There are no limits to imagination and templates (e.g. pictures, text and tone series). Members of the Netzwerk Schulmusik Mainz e.V. can receive funding upon application.
This course is recognized by the Pädagogisches Landesinstitut Rheinland-Pfalz under Az. MA.2138 as serving official interests. |
