This training course for music mentoring is meant to prepare young people so that they can support the management of wind ensembles in schools and / or wind ensemble societies both musically and on an organisation level. This course is meant for pupils of all school form who play a wind instrument or another instrument (a percussion instrument, e.g.) in a wind ensemble, who have a general interest in music and who want to impart that to others. They must be in 8th form at least and must be prepared to take on at least partial responsibility both pedagogically and musically.

Klaus-Martin Heinz worked as a music teacher in Prüm and Heinz. He was head of LJO RLP and subequently head of the Landesmusikademie RLP. He's still very much active as a musician in his new home at Lake Constance, mainly as a bassoonist.
Thomas Rippinger studied the clarinet and was active in the military band. He is the deputy headmaster of the music school Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm. Furthermore, he is the disctrict conductor and head of the Symphonic Wind Orchestra Bitburg-Prüm. |
