Handpan for advanced users

with Alexander Mercks

The instructor, Alexander Mercks, invites you to delve deeper into the world of handpan sounds together.

Together we will put together a colourful programme of in-depth topics.

Among other things, it will be about exploring (poly)rhythms, discovering strong melodies and connecting with your own voice to make your own music more tangible. You will also be shown how to strengthen your own playing with a harmonic foundation and how to improvise easily.

Feelings and body are included in the playing and the necessary knowledge is imparted on how to absorb all the bright colours of handpan music.

Individual handpan learning needs will be addressed and everyone is invited to share them with the instructor and the group.

The door to personal music is shown.
