Dancing - movable

in cooperation with LAG Tanz RLP e.V.

This weekend we want to get all our joints moving through dance: curiously, joyfully and in community. Mindful bodywork will support us. We will be inspired by images of the 4 elements, for example, and varied music from all over the world. With selected movements from African dances, we activate the thoracic spine, which is often not very flexible in our culture, and promote our permeability and uprightness. We will look at our anatomy and try out helpful images for everyday life so that movements become easier and more body-friendly - and not just in dance. With mindful, calm physical exercises, we trace movements and specifically relax the muscles.

Teaching team:

Hildegard Freundlieb didn't have much fun with sport until she started dancing by chance at the age of 12. She got to know many forms of dance, from folklore to modern dance and creative dance. The grounding and community-building power of African dance appealed to her for many years, and she later discovered dance improvisation. Since 2004, as a dance teacher, she has been infecting others with her enthusiasm for experiencing and celebrating joie de vivre, strength, grounding, connection and our diversity. She wants to encourage people to try out different qualities and new movement patterns. She incorporates her knowledge as an occupational therapist, relaxation teacher, singles leader and instructor for Thomas Hanna's Somatic Exercises into her offers as required.
