The trumpet is a chivalrous instrument - a festival for the trumpet is a bow to this noble brass instrument.
With a top-class team of instructors and a unique concept of individual lessons, team workshops and community events, the festival "Trompete total" is the only festival of its kind for the trumpet in the German-speaking world. The offer ranges from the international excellence of the classical representatives of the subject to the stars of the scene in the field of popular and jazz music to the broad field of wind ensembles in the field of trombone choir and music society literature. Even for the youngest trumpet players there is a special offer for brass classes and school orchestras. So the festival is something for ALL trumpet players, but especially for those who have kept an open "outside-the-box view" and are (still) curious about their instrument.
"Trumpet total" will take place for the 6th time in 2024 - the new, expanded concept will be held for the second time at the Landesmusikademie.
