Mastering conflicts with confidence |
Using emotions as a source of strength Nothing stays the same! We live in a dynamic age: be it digitalisation, artificial intelligence or climate change. Leaders are challenged to navigate themselves and their teams in times of uncertainty. Conflicts cannot be avoided. With the right know-how, they can be tapped into as sources of strength that drive the change process forward. The seminar offers reflection on one's own conflict style, teaches types of conflict and shows how the use of language can de-escalate a situation. You too can learn to appreciate the energy of an argument and use a constructive culture of conflict to persuade with arguments and behaviour. Various approaches are presented in the seminar: Non-violent communication (NVC), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), theme-centred interaction (TCI), transactional analysis (TA) and empathy-based communication (EBC). Contents In this seminar you will learn... - the theoretical basics of the emergence and escalation of direct and indirect conflicts. - Know your typical behaviours and your personal conflict style - How to handle crises and deal with tense situations with clarity, empathy and aplomb - classify structural causes and problems within the organisation - new insights into the influence of emotions on changes and decisions - practical solutions for their personal conflict management and how to deal confidently with verbal attacks - Strategies for self-management and for developing a constructive culture of conflict in the team or your organisation
