Around the piano - for piano duos and piano solo

In this course, the piano plays first fiddle. Pianists who play solo or in a piano duo are invited. The course can also serve as preparation for the competition "Jugend musiziert" in 2023. The lessons take place both as individual lessons and in the form of open lessons.

Participants should enclose their program with the registration form, as well as a repertoire list to provide insight into their performance level. It is requested that only original literature be considered.

Accepted participants are asked to bring their scores in duplicate.

Teaching team:

Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl are among the best piano duos on the international music scene. They have been taking the stage together for more than 30 years. Critics speak of a "magical union of two brotherly hearts into one musical soul" and praise their "unique fusion of musical instinct and musical intelligence." Since winning the ARD competition in 1986, the Stenzls have performed in almost every country in Europe, West Africa, North and South America, Japan, Hong-Kong and China. As dedicated professors, they pass on their experience at the conservatories in Rostock (chair of piano duo), Stuttgart (Hans-Peter) and Trossingen (Volker) as well as in master classes. www.klavierduo-stenzl.de
