Jazz 29 - Guitar & Vocals

Although the duo is the smallest possible band, it offers all forms of interaction in jazz. This makes this formation very exciting and at the same time makes high demands on the musicians. The course offers input in the areas of arrangement, sound, voicings and improvisation. Standards and bossa novas are worked on, which are performed at the jazz evening.

Teaching team:	Eva Mayerhofer studied jazz singing at the Swiss Jazz School and at the Hochschule für Musik in Hanover. As a sought-after soloist, she can be heard with projects throughout Germany , including as a guest with the Big Band of the Hessischer Rundfunk or the Frankfurt Jazz Trio. Christian Eckert is an experienced duo player. He went to Holland in the early 90s to study jazz guitar before moving to New York to study with teachers such as Jim Hall, Hal Galper and John Abercrombie.
