Trash Drumming

Drums on rain barrels

What at first sounds strange has meanwhile become one of the most successful musical projects offered in schools in Rhineland-Palatinate. The pupils - until then musically inexperienced - drum in several voices with the simplest of means. The repertoire includes hot samba rhythms, demanding mambo and shuffle grooves as well as more difficult rock rhythms. The methodical as well as the pedagogical and didactical basics of drumming independently with children and teenagers are taught in the course. Of course, the focus is on your own rhythmic doing. Teachers of all types of schools are invited, as well as educators who work with children and teenagers in different contexts and all drum enthusiasts.
