Handpan - The sound magnet

The handpan is a relatively young instrument that combines rhythm and sound in a fascinating way. Whoever hears a handpan for the first time usually feels magically attracted and describes its effect as soothing and touching. The seminar aims to provide the very first steps, interesting playing impulses, rhythm - ideas up to improvisation. Within 24 hours we will elicit amazing things from the sound bowl - promised!

For playing together at the workshop a handpan in D Kurd tuning (440 Hz) is needed. Please indicate if you bring your own instrument or if you need a rental instrument. The rental fee is 25 €.
