Body warm-ups, rhythm games and drum pieces

Everyone wants rhythm!

Simple little rhythm games with body percussion, tables, chairs and other everyday objects; relaxing and challenging warm-up exercises; sensitizing sound journeys; drum pieces that can also be worked on over longer periods of time: The program of this workshop is diverse and varied. While making music we synchronize with each other. In the common pulse, the reliable basis for individual playing space is created. Basically, it begins with very simple rhythms. When the group has "good ground under its feet", everyone can grow in different heights and directions according to their possibilities.  Actually, we hardly need any additional materials besides our bodies for the common rhythm fun. Nevertheless, it is recommended - for more variety and practicality - that the participants bring all kinds of drums from their inventory. This way we can transfer the drum pieces to those instruments that are actually available to you in your daily work. The focus is always on the direct approach to music making and the unifying effect of the common rhythm. In connection with the rhythm games, the benefit of various games for the non-verbal control of group dynamics will also be highlighted.

Contents of the course are body percussion, drumming with everyday objects, movement games and songs, drumming with sticks (boomwhackers), cup drumming. Attention games.
