Jazz 32 - Voice and Piano

Sebastian Sternal, professor of jazz piano, and Alexander Gelhausen, professor of jazz and popular vocals at the Mainz University of Music, are offering a joint duo workshop for piano and vocals.

The offer is aimed at existing duos of all levels, from ambitious amateur musicians, students and young (and old) professionals, to musicians with a classical background who would like to get to grips with jazz and popular music for the first time. Individual registrations are also welcome, as long as they can be assigned to a duo partner in terms of numbers. Among other things, the workshop will focus on the musical interaction of the partners with regard to dynamics, rhythm and style, but above all, the joy of making music together will be conveyed and strengthened.
