The course is primarily aimed at young singers who want to prepare for the “Jugend musiziert” competition, which is open to soloists in 2026. Ambitious amateurs and prospective vocal students are also very welcome. The aim is to further develop existing potential, refine and round off the competition programs in terms of interpretation and practice performance. Singing bodywork is offered daily - also for non-singers.

Raimonds Spogis studied singing in Münster, Hamburg and Karlsruhe. Opera engagements, oratorio concerts and lied programs lead him to numerous European podiums. He teaches at the Landesmusikgymnasium RLP and at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
The soprano Ruth Hartmann studied school music as well as musical theater singing at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. In 2001 she was a scholarship holder of the Paula and Albert Salomon Foundation, which promotes the intensive study of contemporary song. Since 2002, she has made her debut at numerous opera houses, including Bern, Athens, Innsbruck, Braunschweig, Bonn, Graz and Basel.In 2008, she made her debut at the Paris Opera National with G. F. Haas' opera Melancholia. In 2014 she sang the opera Bluthaus by G.F. Haas at the Wiener Festwochen, and also in 2014 she sang the world premiere of his opera Thomas. Numerous radio recordings are available. In 2016 she sang the main role in the opera "Koma" by G.F. Haas, which was premiered d Since 2005 she has held a teaching position for voice at the Cologne University of Music.
Andreas Frese studied piano and song accompaniment with Ria Goetze and Irwin Gage in Düsseldorf and Zurich. In addition to lied interpretation with singers such as Christoph Prégardien, his main focus is on chamber music, including with the Trio Ganymede.   |
