The trumpet is a knightly instrument - a festival for the trumpet is a tribute to this noble brass instrument.
With a top-class team of instructors and a unique concept of individual lessons, team workshops and community events, the “Trompete total” festival is the only festival of its kind for the trumpet in the German-speaking world. The program ranges from the international excellence of the classical representatives of the discipline to the stars of the scene in the field of popular and jazz music to the broad field of brass ensembles in the area of trombone choir and music association literature. There is even a special offer for the youngest trumpet players for brass classes and school orchestras. The festival is therefore something for ALL trumpet players, but especially for those who have kept an open mind and are (still) curious about their instrument.
“Trompete total” will take place for the 7th time in 2025 - the expanded concept will be held at the Landesmusikademie for the third time.
