Elementary music education - Part-time continuing education |
Course in six phases with final examination The course is aimed at instrumental and vocal teachers, church musicians, music teachers at general education schools and teachers from other musically/pedagogically oriented professional fields who would like to gain an additional qualification to teach at their respective institution in the field of elementary music practice.
Contents: Building on all phases, the areas of artistic practice, subject-specific didactics and teaching practice are closely interlinked and related to each other Artistic practice - Movement/Dance - Voice: voice training, speech training, singing - Percussion, elementary instrumental playing - Elementary music practice (combination of expressive media)
Teaching practice - Conception and planning, design and reflection of lessons - Application and implementation in the relevant fields of practice (Elementary music practice with different EMP target groups)
Subject knowledge, didactics, methodology - Aims and content of EMP - EMP working methods - Teaching and learning in groups, dealing with heterogeneity - Practical material (textbooks, songbooks, other teaching material, etc.) - Academic literature and its relevance for practice - Practical music theory (EMP-specific arranging, subject-specific practical music theory)
This course is recognised by the Pädagogisches Landesinstitut Rheinland-Pfalz under Az. MA.7525 as serving official interests. |
