"...preferably together!" - This has been the motto of a biannual training series on "inclusive music-making" at the Landesmusikakademie since 2017.

The joy of making music together and experiencing what can be achieved with a "colourfully mixed group" led to the idea of founding an inclusive music ensemble in Engers.

Inclusion is not limited to people with disabilities, but includes all people without exception and unconditionally: children, young people, adults, senior citizens, people from different social classes and different backgrounds and religions, people with special needs.

Everyone is different and is allowed to be! When making music together, it's just like in life; everyone does what they can in their own place - with their own instrument - to contribute to the success of the whole. This is how an orchestra or a band works. Ways are shown how well-made music can be created with very heterogeneous prerequisites and a colourful mixture of instruments. Everyone brings their own instrument or plays an instrument available on site.

The offer is free of charge. If you are interested, please contact Angelika Hollmann:
