Voice training is always - deepening work on breathing and voice

"The oldest, most genuine and most beautiful organ of music, the organ to which alone our music owes its existence, is the human voice." (Richard Wagner)

The voice, spoken or sung, is our calling card and unmistakable. It remains in our ears for a long time - "live" or "digital".

This workshop is intended to inspire "voice training", i.e. the targeted and thoughtful training of the voice. The "core topics" of singing: posture, breathing, voice, will be explained clearly and understandably.

A healthy body awareness is the basis for free singing on a free flowing breath. Sounds easy, but is always a challenge in the implementation. Clear, pictorial language and comprehensible exercises, which are explained and practiced in the workshop, are basic prerequisites for successful singing and teaching.

Mastering the balance between the necessity of voice training and breathing techniques and the joy of singing, between necessary repetition and invigorating change, is a constant challenge for every voice trainer and singing teacher.

The work incorporates the basic principles and movements of QiGong. The combination of breath, loose-flowing movements, stretches and concentration promote body sensitization, holistic music-making and keeping the voice healthy.
