Singing easily and sonorously - introduction to functional voice training according to Lichtenberg online

free sound without tension, hoarseness and fear of heights
voice physiology, exercises and answering questions

Welcome to the introduction to "Functional- physiological voice training" according to Gisela Rohmert or according to the method of the Lichtenberg Institute.

In the Lichtenberg Institute, the voice has been scientifically studied and it has been found out what really does it good, what it wants and what it doesn't want.

You may learn a few things that seem completely new to you, because the Lichtenberg Institute, together with the Technical University of Darmstadt, has studied the larynx and the singing voice physically, biologically and chemically and found that many traditional singing techniques are outdated, some even harmful.

So just let it all sink in and try it out for yourself. Youth researches!

In this first introduction I would like to explain to you what I consider to be the most important guiding principles of functional voice training, plus some physiology so that you can learn to understand your instrument.

I will explain how to deal with pitch, transitional break (register balancing), vowel balancing, mouth position and hoarseness and do a few exercises with you where you can observe yourself.

Afterwards I will answer any questions you may have.

Yours, Annette (Postel)
